Hello Cedar Wood Friends!

I want you to have an alternative source of information (besides the pharmaceutically driven sources)  that can help you learn more about the hype regarding the need for vaccinations and any down playing of the risks involved.  Rather than spouting off factoids to convince you to think again, I would rather you visit this website (and additional resources listed within) and  research the issues yourselves.  Here are some talking points re vaccinations from Barbara Loe Fisher, the Co-founder & President of the National Vaccine Information Center, mother of three children, a writer and speaker on vaccination and informed consent issues.

ON THE BRIGHT SIDE :)

You have many options on how to increase the strength of your immune system…  Vitamin D is an essential part of staying well in the cold and flu season (Make sure it is whole food sourced or you are causing yourself more harm than good!) .

Here are some additional  tools  for staying well during the winter season.

1)  Eat a healthy whole foods diet and avoid sugar (reduce carb heavy foods like breads, pasta, pizza, crackers bagels etc.)

2)  Get enough rest

3)  Eat fresh garlic and ginger regularly

4)  Find ways to effectively manage your stress (increased stress directly suppresses your immune system)

5)  Wash your hands regularly (use chem free soaps to avoid suppressing your immune system with chemical toxicity)

6)  Get plenty of Omega-3 fats in your diet (fish, eggs, healthy organic meats, olive oil, avocado) and perhaps supplement with Nordic Naturals Fish oils or Krill Oils

7) Exercise regularly (increases blood and lymph circulation and detoxification)

8) OF COURSE come in to see your Nutrition Response Testing Doctor to get evaluated for any metal/chemical toxicity, food sensitivities, low grade immune loads like fungus, parasites, and any nutritional deficiencies that may  be blocking your immune system from functioning at its best.
