Chronic Pain
Fresh fruit, gluten free breads and muffins all part of my healthy diet. I should feel great right? Wrong, my pelvis would be in pain and go out of alignment every time I ate. My prostate was in chronic pain. I was seeing a chiropractor to put me back in place and a physical therapist to strengthen the pelvic muscles so they would stay in place. This was on a weekly basis. With no signs of improvement from these therapies I heard of Dr. Suzy, gave her try and things turned around very quickly.
To my great surprise Dr. Suzy let me know many of the healthy foods in my diet were not so healthy for me. After eliminating them from my diet there was immediate improvement. After just 5 weeks the pelvic pain is 95% gone, years of prostate pain is 99% gone. The physical therapy visits were canceled immediately and the chiropractic visits are once a month and only for a check up. I’m very grateful to Dr. Suzy because I would have never figured out that the healthy foods in my diet were the problem. Almost forgot, as a bonus, the quality of sleep is the best it has been in the last 20 years!

Parasites
When I first came into the office in late May 09’ I was in very bad shape. While I know many things that were wrong with me, no one so far had found a plan of attack that would work. I had high levels of heavy metals, gut dysbiosis and parasites. I had recently lost 40 pounds due to food allergies. Suzy was the first to pick up on the parasites. They had never shown in any stool test and two different doctors told me that there was no way I had parasites. During my two years out of work, I had seen doctors at Fletcher Allen, Dartmouth, and Mass General. They were of no use.
Nutrition Response Testing has literally given me my life back. I am now working part time on my way to full time.
NRT provides a clear road map of what’s wrong, and how to fix it. It is incredibly effective.

Indigestion
I was suffering from chronic indigestion and bloating, frequent diarrhea -- generally a lot of
discomfort after eating at night. Embarrassingly gassy. After 3 months, I feel a lot more comfortable,
less bloating, rare indigestion, normal bowel movements; definitely on the road to recovery and 85% there.

Musculoskeletal Pain, Menstrual Difficulties
I had terrible hip pain that would be slightly relieved with deep tissue massage, physical therapy,
and chiropractic adjustments. I was also really debilitated during my menstrual cycle. My Dad had both
hips replaced and I was most likely on my way there. I also had constant lower back pain.
My hip pain is now gone and my menstrual cramps are much better. Suzy told me after a series of muscle
tests that I should stay away from wheat. I, like a lot of people, love bread and pasta. But I took her
advice and now have been wheat-free since February and I feel like a different person. After physical
therapy, chiropractic work, medical massage, and acupressure, Suzy's nutritional advice has been the only
profound transformation I have experienced. I highly recommend this diagnosis system!

Asthma
In November of 2005 I was 29 years old. At that time, I came down with a respiratory illness that lasted
over a week and left me with a constant wheeze and cough. In July of 2006, I went to a family doctor
about the problem and was told that I had developed asthma. The doctor offered me a prescription for an
inhaler, which I turned down. As physically active as I had been throughout my life, I could not accept
that I had just developed asthma. A few months later, I went to see Dr. Harris. She determined that my
lungs had been damaged and they needed to be "rebuilt." She started me on herbal supplements and after
my second visit with her the coughing and wheezing cleared up. Dr. Harris diagnosed and treated the
problem rather than just treating the symptoms. This was my first experience with non-conventional
medical treatments, and I am very pleased with the results. For anyone that has symptoms that just never
seem to clear up on their own or even with a prescription, I strongly recommend you have Dr. Harris
examine you and try a new approach.

Migraines
I struggled for years with migraine headaches, a misaligned jaw, and a general feeling of unwellness
connected to my spine and posture. I started a practice of yoga, which helped, but it seemed there were
some deep issues that were still stuck. I then began seeing Dr. Suzy Harris. At first Dr. Harris released
some long-held misalignments in my spine and neck, and brought to my attention some blockages related to
food and environment. With the gross-level problems taken care of, she then focused on my neck and jaw,
being attentive to all stages of my progress. My jaw is now more free and aligned than I ever remember
and my headaches have greatly reduced in frequency and severity. And further, my general sense of
wellness is much improved. I am very thankful to Dr. Harris for her skill, attention, and kindness and
would recommend her to anyone with problems similar to mine.

ADHD
My son was diagnosed with ADHD, ODD, Anxiety and migraines. He is fourteen. He was very unfocused, hyper,
and always seemed agitated. We put him on Concerta, which seemed to work for awhile. He also had a very
poor diet and he was always unwilling to try new foods. His main diet consisted of frozen pizza, hot dogs,
mac and cheese, chips.
We took my son to see Dr. Suzy and it was amazing. He actually listened to what she had to say and
started to try different types of food. We discovered that he had a build up of preservatives in his
body. Dr. Suzy talked to him about trying to change his diet and trying the all-natural chips. Dr. Suzy
was wonderful with my son and the best part of going to see her is my son actually listened to her and
she talked to him like a person, not just a patient. She made a wonderful connection with him and he was
really interested in what she had to say. He is now eating all-natural chips, all-natural cookies, dark
chocolate, and a lot of water. He has cut down on his sugar intake, soda, hot dogs, and frozen pizza.
He has switched to eating chicken tenders, cheeseburgers, cucumbers, and apples. We were able to take
him off of Concerta and have had him on Min-Chex [all natural, whole food supplement]. It works great and the best part is he isn't so agitated all the
time. He says he feels much calmer and more relaxed. I feel more comfortable giving him something that is
all-natural, rather than a chemical of which we are not sure what the long-term effects are.

Musculoskeletal Pain, Fatigue, Headaches
I woke up daily with headaches. My muscles were always sore and tired. I felt often fatigued.
I experienced progressively worse symptoms for the last 15 years. I am finally seeing some
improvement now. My headaches are much less severe and less frequent. I am experiencing
improvements in my energy level. My muscle soreness is not as debilitating as it was before.

Anxiety, Sugar Addiction
Before I came in to see Suzy for NRT I was often tired and foggy-headed and also had significant
anxiety and a mild depression. My body ached and I knew I needed to exercise but couldn't quire get
myself to because of lethargy. I also was very addicted to sugar and simple carbs like crackers, etc.
I had a rash on my face that never would go away - it would flare up at times, and get a little better
but was always there. I also had symptoms of sinusitis and a scratchy throat often.
These days my rash rarely surfaces, I have an abundant supply of energy and with that an increasingly
complex life which I could not have juggled before. I am happier, less anxious and have a much easier
time getting out of bed in the morning. I think more clearly and my life is much more organized.
My body only aches when I eat wheat and sugar - foods I was showing sensitivities for. My symptoms of
sinusitis and scratchy throat are rare and only show up when eating wheat. I am nowhere near as addicted
to sugar/carbs as I was and my overall eating patterns have improved significantly.

Decreased Energy
I had a lot of questions as to why I had these recurring mystery symptoms: headaches,
low energy, and foggy thinking. Suzy has allowed me to look deeper inside myself to find
what holds me back. Retraining and healing my body is hard work at times, but it's worth it.
Thank you Suzy and all!

Food Sensitivities, Dizziness, Fatigue
I am gluten intolerant and as a result have a lot of food sensitivities. Even though I had really cleaned
up my diet, I still didn't feel well: fatigued, spaced out, confused, dizzy, foggy-brained, etc. Somehow
I was making it through the day but was concerned since I was about to go back to college.
I experienced dramatic improvements the second week in the program. I still have some muscle weakness
and short-term memory loss but the other symptoms are 90% gone! I had very few detox side effects also --
very mild.
