Chiropractic Care and Applied Kinesiology In Burlington, VT

What Is Applied Kinesiology?

Chiropractic Care In Burlington, VTApplied Kinesiology is a holistic approach that utilizes muscle strength testing to uncover dysfunctions or imbalances in the joints, muscles and specific organs. The doctor finds a muscle or reflex point that tests weak, then evaluates the cause of that weakness and determines the treatments that will restore strength and function to that area.

What is Chiropractic Care?

Chiropractic is the science, art and philosophy of supporting the relationship between the nervous system (brain, spinal cord and nerves) and the body. The nervous system controls the function of every cell, tissue and organ in the body. One of the most common nervous system disruptions is when spinal joints have lost full range of motion, called Vertebral Subluxation. Through carefully controlled pressure applied to these spinal joints, we are able to restore the normal range of motion and allow the nervous system to function at its peak potential. Chiropractic is the science of identifying these disruptions and restoring and maintaining normal function of the nervous system.
